Purple Heart One

The Purple Heart Hair Pro badge is awarded to Purple Hearts Club members who are graduating the first step of the programme - PH1 (Purple Heart One). Like chef’s have Michelin Stars, now Hair Pro’s have Purple Hearts, and the Hair Pro badge is the first Purple Heart—a symbol of dedication, talent and aspiration.

Excited at the prospect of achieving your first Purple Heart milestone as a member of The Purple Hearts Club? Follow the steps in the checklist below to make your Purple Heart aspiration a reality!

The Purple Heart Hair Pro Badge (PH1) Checklist:

  • A State Registration with the Hair Council (SRH) (included with your Purple Heart membership, if required).

  • Have completed the Purple Heart One Workbook (available within the members section of this website) and been assessed as working to an advanced and professional standard (standardisation).

  • Have successfully completed a minimum of four CPD endorsed education days from the Purple Hearts Courses (at least one of these days must have been in-person).

Purple Hearts 2, 3 & 4

Once you’ve graduated with your PH1 Purple Heart Hair Pro Award, you’ll be able to move on to the remainder of the PH Club Education Programme, allowing the opportunity to gain additional ‘Hearts’.

These heart badges are also awarded at the annual Graduation ceremony and can be achieved in any order to suit your schedule or educational needs.

Purple Heart 5

The 360° Master Hair Pro CCH Award & Fast Track Master Hair Pro Award

Achieve Mastery with the Golden 360° Master Hair Pro CCH Badge!

Take the fifth step in your professional journey with the Five Purple Hearts CCH Master Assessment! This one-day assessment is designed for those who have completed all courses PH 1 through 4 or for fully qualified, state-registered hair professionals with a minimum of five years of experience. 

Upon successful completion, you will earn the prestigious 360° Master Purple Heart Hair Pro CCH Badge, complete with letters after your name, as well as the Master Craftsman Diploma awarded by the Hair Council.

This is your opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge, solidifying your status as a master in the hair industry, elevate your credentials and stand out among your peers.

The fast-track option is there for those who are already well-ahead in their careers (fully qualified, 5+ years experience) and don’t necessarily need to undertake the training in PH levels 1-4. Please get in touch if this is something you would be interested in.

The 360° master Hair Pro CCH Badge (PH5) Checklist:

To receive The 360° MASTER Hair Pro CCH Badge at the Graduation Ceremony, you will need the following:

  • A state registration with the Hair Council (SRH) (included with your Purple Heart membership).

  • Registered as MASTER PROFESSIONAL with the Hair Council (included with membership).

  • Have completed the Purple Hearts CPD Programme (up to, and including, PH4).

  • Have completed your 5 Purple Hearts Assessment.

Purple Hearts 6 & 7

Programmes 6 and 7 are specifically designed for those who have achieved the 360 Master Hair Pro CCH Badge (PH5) and wish to continue their journey toward becoming educators or Art Directors.

These heart badges are also awarded at the annual Graduation ceremony.

  • The Purple Hearts Club is open to all hair professionals, students or experienced, who are passionate about their craft, standing out in an unregulated industry and being part of the movement to bring about positive change.

    Whether you’re an experienced stylist or just starting your journey, if you’re dedicated to honing your craft and believe our industry deserves to be recognised as the professional career it truly is, then this is the club for you.

  • Yes you absolutely can! Although with the Entry Membership only one class is included within your fees so you would be required to pay for the additional classes needed in order to graduate. If graduating with a Purple Heart is your aim it is more cost effective to move up to the Standard Membership level - please get in touch with us if you’d like to discuss this more.

  • The Hair Pro Badge is your First Purple Heart, awarded after successfully achieving Purple Heart 1.

    The CCH Badge is awarded to those who complete 1-5 of the Purple Hearts Programme, it is the equivalent of 5 Purple Hearts and the ultimate achievement in being a Purple Hearts Club member (if you don’t wish to progress to becoming an Educator or Art Director).

    1. Entry, which is our cheapest option and a great starting point if you wish to trial the club and it’s classes first.

    2. The second option is Standard, which is the most popular option, giving access to a good amount of free options to take you well into your PH journey.

    3. And then Master, which is ideal for those with 5+ years experience as a Hair Pro and offers a fast-track option to achieving the Master Hair Pro Badge.
