Delivered by Purple Heart Hair Pros or approved Guest Educators, our bespoke in-person and online programmes combine real-world artistry with recognised CPD-accreditation. Whether you’re building your skills or leading the next generation, the WELOVE Academy gives you the education, support, and community to grow your career, and your Purple Hearts, globally.

The Purple Hearts Education
LEVEL ONE: YOUR FIRST PURPLE HEART
Required:
Foundations of Commercial & Creative Excellence Class (Online).
The Purple Heart Standardisation Workbook (Online).
An Assessment Interview with a WELOVE Ambassador (Online).
Fundamentals in Tricho-care (Online).
Plus one (or more, optional) of the following:
Fundamentals in Colour
Fundamentals in Styling
Fundamentals in Bridal
Fundamentals in Barbering - Coming Soon
Fundamentals in Extensions/Wigs - Coming Soon
Other Requirements:
An Active Insurance Policy
An Active Registration with the Hair Council (or location equivalent)
LEVEL TWO: YOUR SECOND AND THIRD PURPLE HEARTS
Required:
Master Commercial (Online)
Master in Tricho-care (Online)
Assessed and recognised for consistent professional standards (Online by a WELOVE Ambassador)
Plus one (for two Purple Hearts) or two (for Three Purple Hearts) of the following:
Master in Colour
Master Stylist
Master Bridal/Event Hair
Master in Barbering - Coming Soon
Master in Extensions/Wigs - Coming Soon
Other Requirements:
Have achieved a First Purple Heart
An Active Insurance Policy
An Active Registration with the Hair Council (or location equivalent)
Demonstrate continued CPD training of:
TWO PURPLE HEARTS: 25 hours + per year
THREE PURPLE HEARTS: 35 hours + per year
LEVEL THREE: YOUR FORTH AND FIFTH PURPLE HEARTS
Required:
Assessed and recognised for consistent professional standards at a master level (Online by a WELOVE Ambassador) - Four Purple Hearts
Have completed at least FOUR (or more) WELOVE PH Master Classes from Level Two, in their chosen specialities, plus a CCH Assessment (FIVE Purple Hearts - The Gold CCH Badge)
Other Requirements:
5 + Years Commercial Experience as a Qualified Hair Professional
Have achieved at least one Purple Heart
An Active Insurance Policy
An Active Registration with the Hair Council (or location equivalent) - at a Master Level
Demonstrate continued CPD training of:
45 hours + per year
EDUCATOR LEVEL: THE SEAL OF APPROVAL
Required:
Complete the PH Master Educator Course
Achieved Four or Five Purple Hearts
Other Requirements:
Have completed the HABIA AET COURSE (EXTERNAL COST WITH HABIA)
An Active Insurance Policy
An Active Registration with the Hair Council (or location equivalent) - at a Master Level
Demonstrate continued CPD training of:
50 hours + per year

HABIA, the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority, is the sector skills body for the hair, beauty, and spa industries in the UK. Established to support the growth and development of these industries, HABIA works to ensure that training and qualifications meet the highest standards, reflecting the needs of employers and consumers. They provide resources, guidance, and support for training providers, helping to promote best practices and enhance the overall quality of education within the hair and beauty sectors. By fostering collaboration between industry stakeholders, HABIA aims to elevate professional standards and career opportunities for individuals within the field.
The Hair Council
The Hair Council is a professional body that focuses on promoting and regulating the UK hairdressing industry. Established to enhance the standards and professionalism of hairdressers, the Hair Council advocates for legislation and best practices, including mandatory licensing for hair professionals. It provides support, resources, and guidance to hairdressers and salons, helping to elevate the industry's reputation and ensure that practitioners meet rigorous training and competency standards. By fostering a sense of community and professionalism, the Hair Council aims to enhance career opportunities and consumer confidence in the hairdressing sector.
